Interventional Cardiology

Interventional Cardiology is a subspecialty of Cardiology that involves the use of minimally invasive, catheter-based techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of heart disorders. These catheter-based procedures are less invasive than open-heart surgery, and may be utilized to treat a wide spectrum of cardiac disorders, including coronary artery disease (CAD), hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, valvular heart disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and congenital and other structural heart defects.

The JHO’s network of interventional cardiologists includes expert clinicians and technical virtuosos who are considered the leading experts in the field.
